When someone called Gainesville (Fla.) police to complain about a group of kids playing basketball loudly in the streets, the department dispatched an officer to investigate. As Officer Bobby White pulled up on the scene, he noticed that the kids weren’t doing anything wrong. They were just playing some street ball.
“You believe someone called to complain about kids playing basketball in the streets?” he asked one of the hoopers. “You believe that? I ain’t got no problem with it, obviously.”
Then he grabbed the ball from one of the players and began putting up shots. A pickup game of sorts ensued, and White even got a chance to throw down a dunk or two.
